Saline Indivisible Events

We are currently supporting three meeting formats: monthly, weekly, and on-demand. The hope is that the varying formats will provide the community with a format that they can feel comfortable sharing their ideas in. We invite you to join us at a future event.

Monthly meetings

The monthly gatherings are intended to be agenda-driven meetings. The monthly meetings are intended to support larger (40+) group conversations. RSVPing for monthly events is strongly encouraged.

• Purpose:
  • Updates on what we are working on
  • Volunteering requests/opportunities
  • Calls-to-Action
  • Educational opportunities
  • Guest speakers
• Location: The 109 Cultural Exchange (primarily) and Zoom
• Date: Third Monday of the month*

Weekly meetings

The weekly gatherings are intended to be more informal. The weekly meetings are intended to support conversation by a smaller group (10 or so). No RSVP is necessary.

• Purpose:
  • Discuss current events
  • Ideal exchange
  • Socialize
  • Saline Indivisible updates
• Location: Carrigan Cafe (primarily) with rotation between other local spots
• Date: Sunday mornings*

On-demand meetings

The on-demand gatherings are purpose-driven meetings where we will work on specific tasks or accommodate specific events (like an author or speaker). The on-demand meetings will vary in size. RSVP may or may not be encouraged depending on the event type.

• Purpose: Sign-making, postcards, off-schedule guest speaker, etc
• Location: The 109, Fine Print Books, Carrigan Cafe, Brewed Awakening, Salt Spring Brewery, Saline Public Library
• Date: As needed

*While we will do our best to find the perfect cadence for meetings, we will continue to tinker. Therefore, all event dates/times are subject to change. Please join the mailing list to stay current.
